"Cementing" Our New Friendships

Over the last few weeks, the Owls have been able to have a front row view to the construction happening on our Lower School playground. Yesterday, the Owls met two new friends by the name of Peter and Tom. Peter and Tom are just two of the many hard workers who are working on building a new playground. The Owls were very excited about our new friendship, but mostly friends were excited because they were able to see three HUGE cement trucks come and fill very LARGE holes with cement. Friends had a lot of questions about the cement, which both Tom and Peter, our new friends, happily answered for us! While the Owls were resting during rest time, Peter and Tom built a large square which they filled with concrete. After it set for a bit, friends learned that they were able to place their hand prints in the concrete!  The Owls could be heard "WHOO-ing" with joy and proudly showing off their hand prints.
