Yoga!


Today Courtney, Lily's mom, visited the Owls classroom to teach and practice more yoga with us. The Owls began their practice by sitting in sukhasana. Sukhasana is an easy, light pose that helps to let your body relax and settle.





Before moving onto chapter two of our story, friends went over the poses they learned the last time. Poses such as guinea pig, frog, turtle, mountain, and tree.

This was a new pose that friends really enjoyed called Gate.

Once our practice was sealed in, friends headed off into Choice Time. While friends took turns doing their self-portraits, other friends participated in playing with magnatiles, trains, Squigz, drawing, and dollhouse.
