This week the Owls started a new chapter book, Mr. Popper's Penguins. We have already met quite a few characters in the book, one being Captain Cook. Captain Cook is a penguin who was sent to Mr. and Mrs. Popper. Friends have enjoyed listening to the story during Rest and hearing all about Captain Cook. Today the Owls had the chance to journal about Captain Cook.

Following journals, friends went into Choice Time.
During Choice, friends worked together to build intricate water machines, beds, castles and more!
Another choice was the drawing table. Friends sat around the table discussing and drawing characters from their favorite stories.
