The Owls had a very, very busy schedule today! Our day began with Meeting for Worship in the classroom. During Meeting for Worship, friends reflected on their Winter Break. Afterwards, we went right into Morning Meeting where we went over the Daily Schedule, Question of the Day, and Calendar. Next up was Journals.
Journal Topic: What is one thing you loved about your Winter Break?
Each Owl found a cozy spot in the room to sit/lay and journal.
Once settled into their journaling spots, friends were served a snack of soft pretzels and water. The Owls loved this idea!
Next up was Music with Keisha. The Owls learned a few new songs and a game called Ponies.
Note: We are not sleeping, this part of the game!
After Music, the Owls headed back to the classroom for a quick Choice Time, and then off to Library.
