The Owls' morning started off with Meeting for Worship with the Catbirds in the Owls' Room. Friends have decided as a group that next Wednesday we will take the trip over to the Meeting House for our next Meeting for Worship! Friends are very excited and already begun asking how many days until next Wednesday!
After Meeting for Worship, friends had a Literacy Workshop. This week the Owls have been focusing on the letter H. Friends practiced writing the H by using 2 big lines and one little line. Ask your Owl if they remember what sound the letter H makes.
Before moving into Choice Time, friends were asked to name a word that started with the letter H. Here are the words that the Owls came up with!

For Choice Time, friends were able to choose between Dramatic Play, Drawing, Magnatiles, The Spider Game and Books.
Friends ended their morning with Library. Doris read us the book Sophie's Squash. Friends found it very silly that Sophie drew a face on her squash. The Owls have been learning about the difference between Fiction and Non Fiction books. Ask your Owl if they remember the difference and if they checked out a Fiction or Non Fiction book from the library.
