Freight Train, Funny Books, and Friends

On this rainy Wednesday morning, the Owls cheerfully walked into music class following the beat of Keisha's drum.

Once seated, we sang our hello song.
Jambo

Friends practiced their high-pitch and low-pitch by singing a song about a grandmother and grandfather. Here, friends are following along with the hand gestures.

Keisha introduced a new song about a train called Freight Train. The Owls climbed aboard, traveling to Florida, North America, the Arctic, and North Carolina.

We read Owl Moon, and then got to sing along to the Owl Moon song.

Next, in Library, we read a few books. First we read Click, Clack, Boo!

The second book we read was Happy Halloween Witch's Cat. Doris asked if we could be book critics and give her feedback since this was a new book that was sent to our library. The Owls gave the book two thumbs up.

Lastly, we read Nose to Toes, You are Yummy! There is a silly dance written at the end of the book that we got to do. The Owls enjoyed it so much we did it twice!

The Owls went on exploring. Looking and flipping through the pages of books.

Once friends made a choice, they found a cozy spot to sit and read.

Back in the classroom, the Owls enjoyed some Choice.
