After Meeting for Worship and Morning Meeting, the Owls continued to work on their Valentine's Day Mailboxes. Yesterday, friends put the base coat on their boxes, and today finished them off with beautiful designs. Each Owl added their own extra flair.
At another table, we set up card-making. During Morning Meeting, the Owls listed words and phrases they would like to use for friends' cards. We wrote the words and ideas down on sentence strips, and the Owls got to work. A favorite was drawing and cutting out hearts.
Friends enjoyed building planes, trains, and many other automobiles with legos. They let their creativity and imaginations run wild.
